Former university teacher Dan Brown wrote four books untill now. Brown's fifth book will be 'The Solomon Key'. The book is expected to be released in the winter of 2006 or in spring 2007.

"Digital Fortress" is Dan Brown's first book. Just as Dan Brown's other books, Digitl Fortress is a thriller where fact and faction walk hand in hand. True facts are woven within fiction. The main premise of the book is that there exists a supercomputer that can decrypt any encrypted message through brute force, no matter which algorithm was used to encrypt the message. No exotic cryptographic breakthroughs are mentioned. In reality this is a flawed premise.

Angels and Demons was published in 2000. It is the first book in which we meet Robert Langdon.
In Angels and Demons Dan Brown takes us back in time to explain the debate between religion and science. The story involves a conflict between an ancient group, the Illuminati, and the Catholic Church.
