The Da Vinci Code is a huge bestseller. No wonder the book has been adapted to a moviescript to make it a Hollywood Blockbuster as well. If the signs are correct, the success of the movie will be even greater than the success of the book.

The premiere of the movie will be on May 17 during the Cannes filmfestival in the south of France. The worldwide premiere will be on May 27.

Ron Howard (Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind) is the director of the movie. The leading roles are played by some very big names:

Sophie Neveu - Audrey Tautou (Amelie)
